Ski Trip News Letter

We're back! And we had a great time.

We got on the road, close to on time (and it wasn't Rich's fault) and we made good time. (No snow storms this year so we actually made the trip in record time.) We were at the hotel with plenty of time to start on that open bar on Friday night. And believe me we made use of it. I am still amazed at how many people made it skiing on Saturday morning, given what they looked like when they were going to bed on friday night.

Once again, I didn't go skiing, but I have some pictures from the bus to prove that other people did. A crew of us went horseback riding on Saturday and then ended up in the hot tub before dinner.

Saturday night was real interesting. Starting with a guest during Rich's show and then the minor emergency, requiring a hospital visit, and some interesting propositions. (I think Rob may be the winner in that category, you'll just have to ask him about Sassy, sometime.) You'll just have to see the pictures to believe some of this. Those who were there may need to see them just confirm that it really happened.

Sunday, some brave soles got up and went skiing or snow tubing, though we had been warned that the conditions weren't great. Which was enough of a reason for some to just sleep in. (I would fall into that category.)

But we did make it to the Sunday afternoon Jamaica Me Crazy Party in the lounge, and then it was on to packing up, loading the bus, and heading to dinner. Before we all got on the bus we took a couple of minutes to get the group picture. (Thanks Mario!)

This year the show on the bus was saved for the ride home and it was the perfect end to a great weekend.

Thanks to everyone from Adventures, especially Joy, for their great work in making this weekend run so smoothly and thanks to my roommates for putting up with me while I was running around trying to help Rich get everything together.
