Thanks to Celeste for getting us there and back safely and to the crew from Adventures, especially Lisa, for taking great care of us. Thanks to Rich and Carol for all the work they did in getting this trip together.

Friday was an interesting trip. We had to back the bus up half the length of the rest stop after we picked up the guys from Montvale, the double trip over the bridge, the accident on the New York Thruway and then the stop at the ShopRite for a beer run and a cigarette stop. After the stop, Rich gave us our first show of the trip and then we finally make it to the hotel.

Saturday morning, I didn’t make it to breakfast until 9:30, so I didn’t see the crew that went out skiing, but a large part of our group did ski and I’m hoping some of you will send me your pictures from the mountain. I did get pictures from the return trip and the apres ski party.

I also have about 150 pictures of my own from the pajama party on Saturday night and another 50 or so from Dave. Just more proof of how crazy this crew really is. I’m not even going to get into what went on, on Saturday night; I’ll leave that up to the pictures. But I will mention that the management had to make a stop by the 3^rd floor after hours party to quiet it down. If anyone has pictures of the after hours party, please send them along. I have plenty of room to post them.

Sunday was a much quieter day. (Gee I don’t know why.) A group of us went to Brodie with the skiiers, but we went snow tubing.

After we got back to the hotel most of the crew was up and already in the bar. We made it to dinner and got the traditional group photo, before we got on the bus to come home.

Rich was informed on Sunday afternoon that we had broken a liquor consumption record for the Holiday Inn, Berkshires. And that didn’t include what we brought with us and drank on the bus. I have a feeling the crew on the 3^rd floor were more than partly responsible for breaking that record.

Fish managed to get some guy to run him to the liquor store to stock up for the ride home. Which was cheaper that the reported $20.00 for a six pack that the hotel was getting. (This is a story I heard and I don’t have any way of verifying it.)

Except for the fact that we didn’t make it 300 feet from the hotel before we had to make a stop for someone, who shall remain nameless, got sick, the ride home was much quieter that the ride up. We watched a couple of movies and the fact that the rest stop had a Starbucks made many of us very happy.

I gave disposable cameras to Luann and Karen and Earl and Spud and they got some great shots. I’ll be posting them on separate pages, but they got a lot of pictures of things I missed. I also have pictures from Barry of Adventures to post after I get all of mine up. All of the pictures that Carol, Rich and Dave took will be posted with my pictures.

Thanks to all of you for making this so much fun. Thanks again to Rich, Carol, Dave, Barry, Luanne, Karen, Eric and Spud for taking pictures and letting me share them. It takes me some time to get though all of the pictures, but when I’m done, I’m left with a lot of great memories and I hope you feel the same way.

Also, thanks to the crew from Long Island for putting up with us. I hope you had fun on your trip and you’ll come out and join us at a show soon.

By the way, Fish, I don’t hate you, I just really have a fear of people talking to the bus driver on winding mountain roads in the fog. Without you I don’t think this trip would have been nearly as fun.
