The Mailing List Babe's Thought for the Week:

Halloween: A pagan holiday perpetuated by the American Dental Association

Happy Halloween!

You people just keep amazing me. We had a great weekend of Halloween parties and almost everyone came out in costume.

Friday night was the party at the Surf and Turf and I have to admit that I wasn’t expecting a lot of people to come out in costume. Man, was I wrong. It was a great turn out and we had quite a few prizes to give away. I also assumed, with everyone in costume, we wouldn’t have any body shots, again, I was wrong!

Thanks again to Frank, Steve, Susanne and Donna for being wonderful hosts and to all of the staff for making us feel so welcome. We’ll see you again in a couple of weeks.

Saturday was the Sandpiper Halloween Party. I was expecting great things and I wasn’t disappointed. I think we may have had more people in costume this year than any other year I can remember. Usually we have some wimps who don’t get dressed up, but I think their numbers are dropping.

It’s taken me quite a while to get through all of the pictures. Between the digital and the 35mm pictures I have to scan, I had over 100 pictures, just from Saturday night. I tried to get pictures of everyone, so if you were in costume, check out all of the pages, you’ll probably find yourself in there somewhere.

This week Rich is back to normal (if you have any doubts that last weekend wasn’t normal, you weren’t there), he’ll be at Sidewinders in Garfield on Friday and Ocean’s 117 (formerly JP Bailey’s) in Pt. Pleasant on Saturday night.

Go answer the door. It’s more trick or treaters. And we’ll see you at a show soon.
